1. Information we collect
When you sign up or use Billy, we collect: your WhatsApp phone number, your name (if you provide it), messages you send to Billy, and information Billy retrieves from your QuickBooks Online account (bill data, vendor names, amounts, due dates, and payment status) with your explicit authorization.
2. How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the Billy service: sending you bill reminders, answering your questions about your finances, and logging invoices to QuickBooks. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
3. QuickBooks data
Billy connects to your QuickBooks Online account only with your explicit OAuth authorization. We access only the data necessary to perform the service (bills, vendors, payments, and invoices). You can revoke Billy's access to QuickBooks at any time from your QuickBooks account settings.
4. WhatsApp messages
Your conversations with Billy travel over WhatsApp's end-to-end encrypted infrastructure. We store message content on our servers only as necessary to provide the service (e.g., to maintain context across sessions). We do not read, share, or monetize your conversation content beyond what is needed to respond to you.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by messaging Billy or contacting us at privacy@meetbilly.app. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage and secure transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
Billy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp message before they take effect.
