1. Acceptance of terms
By messaging Billy on WhatsApp or using any Billy service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Billy.
2. Description of service
Billy is an AI-powered bookkeeping assistant that connects to your QuickBooks Online account via WhatsApp. Billy helps you track bills, receive due-date reminders, log invoices, and query your financial data in natural language. Billy is currently in beta and features may change.
3. QuickBooks authorization
Billy accesses your QuickBooks Online account only with your explicit authorization via Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow. You are responsible for any actions taken in QuickBooks on your behalf by Billy. You may revoke this authorization at any time from your QuickBooks account settings.
4. Beta service
Billy is free to use during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans after the beta period ends. We will provide advance notice via WhatsApp before any charges apply.
5. Accuracy of information
Billy retrieves financial data from QuickBooks and presents it to you. While we strive for accuracy, Billy may occasionally make errors. Always verify important financial decisions against your QuickBooks account directly. Billy is not a licensed accountant, financial advisor, or attorney, and nothing Billy says constitutes professional financial or legal advice.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use Billy for any unlawful purpose, to transmit fraudulent or misleading information, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or to use Billy in any way that could harm us or other users.
7. Disclaimers
Billy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained will be accurate or reliable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any financial losses resulting from reliance on Billy's responses.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp message before they take effect. Continued use of Billy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
